Who is responsible for your data?

RentMyHype is operated by BRIAL, a French individual entrepreneur (entrepreneur individuel), SIREN 952 765 709, SIRET 952 765 709 00011. Address: 2 Allée des Béryls Roses, 97400 Saint-Denis, La Réunion, France. BRIAL is the data controller for the RentMyHype service. Contact: contact@rentmyhype.app.

What information we use

• Account information: your email address, account identifier, sign-in information and, if you choose Google sign-in, the basic profile information Google provides, such as your name and profile photo. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive or contacts.
• Creator content: the event details, location, date, description, photos and sponsorship spots you choose to save to your account.
• Local preview data: example bids and drafts saved in your browser. Photos remain local until you explicitly save a draft to your account.
• Payout setup: your Stripe connected-account identifier and the status of your onboarding and payout capabilities. Stripe collects bank and identity verification details through its own secure onboarding screens.
• Technical information: essential authentication cookies and service logs, which may include IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information and errors.
• Support messages: the information you send when you contact us.

The current preview does not process sponsorship payments. We do not collect or store payment card numbers.

Why we use it

We use account details, saved content and essential emails to provide the service you request, on the basis of performing our agreement with you or taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement. We use limited technical information to keep the service secure, investigate problems and prevent abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service. Where applicable, we retain information necessary to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or use your uploaded photos to train an AI model. We do not send marketing emails as part of the current service.

Who can access it?

Your account drafts and their uploaded photos are private. They are not public marketplace listings. The public example listings use fictional profiles and illustrative photographs.

We use service providers for defined functions: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication, the database and photo storage, Resend for transactional email delivery, and Stripe for connected-account onboarding. If you choose Google sign-in, Google also processes information under its own privacy policy. Authorized service administrators can access data when necessary to operate the service or respond to a support request.

Where information is processed

The RentMyHype Supabase project is hosted in the EU West region in Ireland, and the Resend sending domain uses its EU West region. Providers may also process some information outside the European Economic Area, including for support and service operations. Depending on the provider and processing involved, transfers rely on applicable adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. How long we keep information

Account information and saved drafts are kept while your account is active and they are needed to provide the service. You can delete individual account drafts from your dashboard. To request account deletion, email us. Some records may need to be retained separately where required by law or to handle a dispute; we limit their use to those purposes.

Browser-only drafts and demo bids stay on your device until you remove them using the dashboard or clear your browser storage. Hosting, authentication and email delivery logs follow the retention settings of the respective service providers.

Cookies and browser storage

We use essential authentication cookies to keep you signed in. Local storage is used when you save a browser draft or a demo bid. This preview does not include advertising pixels or optional audience analytics. You can remove browser data in your browser settings, but doing so signs you out or removes local drafts. We would request consent before introducing technologies that require it.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. We do not use your data to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Send requests to contact@rentmyhype.app. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month, subject to the extensions permitted by law. You may also complain to the French data-protection authority, the CNIL, or your competent supervisory authority.

Updates

We may update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Significant changes affecting your data will be communicated where required.
